Last year my daughter was a "first time" camper and went off to camp with great hesitation. The first phone call home was a little teary, by the next call home she didn't really want to talk to us because she couldn't wait to get back to her friends. By the time family visiting day came around, we couldn't get her to leave camp. She's talked about her camp experience non stop since last summer, and I mean non-stop!!! It is so nice to see how she has kept in touch with her camp friends throughout the year, which even included a road trip to see a few girls in person. Neddless to say, camp is well over a month away and she's already starting to pack! The excitement is overwhelming and as a parent makes me feel so happy that she's looking forward to her second year at Camp Weequahic! We could not think of a better place to send her...beautiful grounds, awesome staff, tons of activities, lots of love, happiness and smiles!!! Thanks Camp Weequahic!!!!
